Lesley Westwood, daughter of Les and once part time barmaid at the Wheatsheaf completed a 300 mile sponsored bicycle ride around Russia in aid of Children in Crisis.

Lesley sends her thanks to the many customers of the Wheatsheaf that sponsored her.  Lesley raised in excess of £2500 for Children in Crisis, £200 of which came from donations from customers of the Wheatsheaf PH.  Again many thanks to all. 
Children in Crisis exists to improve the lives of children around the world affected by conflict, deprivation, poverty or other hidden crises by working with local communities to provide education, healthcare and protection.
